wars and weapons

The Cherokee had many wars they didn't really start them they sort off got involved by either bribe or being paid. Their first war was the french revolution or also known as the french and Indian wars. That time the Indians were fighting on behalf of the British not only cause they needed help but promised the Indians a land reserve. Dispite the help of the Indians the french still manged to win and won their independence. The next war they got involved in was the war of 1812 they were still on the side of the British because the land that they were promised was taken over by the Americans. But still the Americans won and named their selves the empire state. Then three years later the battle of 1815 broke out this time on the side of the Americans in hopes of getting their promised land back. The war was won and they got their land back but not for long cause little did they know that soon Andrew Jackson would drive them out. The ten years of peace soon ended when they had a war with the Delaware [called the chicamauga war] also know as the tuscawargins. The war was started because the reservations was being taken over for more land. Jealous of the Cherokee they tired to take over of their land. They won the war with the help of the Americans. Not to long after the Tuscarora war began against France this time America did not help because they had no soldiers available. Luckily the Cherokee were able to win by sneaking into the tent of Napoleon and killed him. And finally their last war was in the civil war they fought on behalf of the Confederacy against their will because of the Indian slave law passed on by Andrew Jackson. Many Indians died in the war. Now about their weapons the used what most other Indians used a bow and arrow and nets, spears, and like the Mohawk the used a bone club used to cut their opponents and animals carved with ridged edges and a sickle type hook with string attached to it could be thrown like a boomer rang.
